Think we will either remove this switch or add another 1GB to the server and see how we get on. another quick question Does the coutner page faults\sec only I have read in most places to the contrary, that if your server is only 3GB ram then you dont need to set max memory and also to use the /3GB switch.

Windows won't benefit much (nor Q3), but memory intensive stuff like Photoshop will use any ram you got. Windows 2000 will benefit more if you add ram to your existing box, mostly because of the extra overhead in NT bases OSs. IMHO, if you got the cash, go for it, but if this is gonna set you back, don't bother.

Total RAM installed 1 GB (1024 MB). Set Limit memory used by Windows to 512 MB (msconfig / Advanced). Question: Will all other applications be able to see total 1 GB memory, even thought Windows can only "see" 512 MB? BIOS setting screen shows 1 GB total memory installed. My question is did the computer recognize that much ram? I am assuming it did or MacroMac would not have advertised it for the LC 575. Another question comes to mind. There wasn't anything keeping you from opening all the applications you wanted, or otherwise doing high-memory-usage things.
